Please join us in welcoming Kelly Sudol as the new president of Chili Soccer Association!
Kelly was born and raised in Whitesboro, NY, a suburb of Utica, where she started playing soccer at the age of 5. As an adolescent she loved being on the field and all of the comradery and life lessons you can only learn from participating in youth sports. She earned her refereeing certification and officiated many games, and also volunteered as an assistant coach for her youngest sister’s team. She played throughout high school and was recruited by RIT, where she enjoyed playing at the collegiate level in the positions of striker and left mid for the Tigers.
In her adult life, Kelly has been an active volunteer with CSA, coaching in the Tykes and House program, managing her oldest daughter’s travel team and now serving on the CSA board for the last several years in the roles of Small-Sided Games Coordinator and Travel Commissioner. She has two daughters, Aubrey and Brynn, who have participated in every CSA program and now both play on CSA Travel and Travel Elite teams.
Kelly said about this exciting opportunity, “I love this club and think it is poised to build on the rich history and role we’ve played in Western NY Soccer. I am excited to take this next step in my service to CSA, because of the sense of community it has built here in the greater Chili area, and my pride in the quality of play and opportunities offered by the club.”
We would also like to thank Jeff Vieira for his many contributions to the board over the past 12 years, including his 5 years serving as president.
